About
MEGHAN MONROE’S SINGLE RELEASES HAVE RESONATED WITH LISTENERS AROUND THE WORLD, TRAVELING ACROSS BORDERS THROUGH DOWNLOADS, STREAMING, RADIO, AND GLOBAL PLAYLISTS.
TWO SONGS HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED among THE BEST NEW releases BY AN INDEPENDENT FEMALE ARTIST.
Four forthcoming songs have also received early recognition, including a featured artist placement on ReverbNation, global playlist distribution across 120+ countries, and radio and podcast features. Meghan’s songs for film, television, and commercial projects are led by her voice and shaped by her distinct roles as a songwriter, pianist, and producer.
Meghan is a singer and cinematic recording artist whose music moves fluidly through soft pop, contemporary R&B, dance pop with Latin and Cuban flavors, smooth jazz, and a blend of rock, blues, and gospel. Spanning rich alto to high soprano, her voice is distinguished by soulful, intimate phrasing, emotional texture, dramatic power, and a sensual, nuanced delivery across genres.
At the heart of Meghan’s singing—whether expressed through polished restraint or gospel‑like fervor—is an instinct for turning intimate feeling into testimony, allowing emotion to gather force until it becomes something larger—at times, almost transcendent.
Meghan has further developed her vocal technique through study with renowned Los Angeles vocal coaches Ken Stacey and Rosemary Butler, as well as Nashville’s Renee Grant-Williams.
In addition to English, Meghan sings repertoire in Latin and occasional passages in Spanish and French. She began choreographing in early childhood and trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and hip hop dance, as well as salsa, tango, and martial arts. That lifelong relationship with movement continues to inform her sense of rhythm, phrasing, dramatic progression, and performance.
AT THE PIANO MEGHAN DRAWS ON CLASSICAL, GOSPEL, POP, JAZZ, AND BLUES INFLUENCES THAT SHAPE HER HARMONIC CHOICES, SONGWRITING, AND COMPOSITION. SHE HAS ALSO STUDIED CELLO, SAXOPHONE, AND PERCUSSION.
Meghan’s artistic imagination was shaped early by the sacred and natural grandeur of Helena, Montana. Raised in a family deeply connected to the Catholic Church, she grew up across from the Cathedral of St. Helena, surrounded by mountains, and spent weekends hiking the wooded terrain around her family’s rustic cabin at the foot of the Continental Divide. The Cathedral’s sacred architecture, music, liturgy, ritual, and recurring bells—and the mountains’ vastness, silence, and elemental beauty—became part of her inner creative vocabulary. Across a lifetime of spiritual practice and personal transformation, faith has remained an interior current within her work, informing her exploration of beauty, longing, embodiment, transcendence, and the unseen life beneath experience.
Meghan is a natural performer who loves being onstage, captivating audiences with her distinctive style, palpable authenticity, physicality, and soulful, sensual sound.
Meghan’s visual artistry is rooted in her formal training in film and animation, where she learned that before an image can move, it must first be able to speak—to hold meaning and tell a story on its own. That discipline continues to shape her direction, performance, visual identity, and the cinematic world she creates around her music.
